Mahwah, NJ----Earning their first win since the teams began their series in 2022, Brooklyn College Men's Tennis cruised to an 9-0 non-conference victory at Ramapo College on Wednesday. Brooklyn improves to 9-6 overall with the win while the Roadrunners dropped to 5-3. Next Up: Brooklyn looks to close out the regular season with their third straight win at FDU-Florham on Friday at 1:30pm.
BC would take all three doubles matches with
Ryan Sham and
Aymen Kuc winning (8-7 | 7-5 tiebreak) at the top flight,
Craig Pazarecki and
Ryan Badre-Hume (8-3) at the No. 2 flight, and
Mujibur Shaad and
Allen Mardakhayev (8-4) at the No. 3 slot.
Sham pulled out a tie-break win at No. 1 singles (6-1, 2-6, 10-3). Kuc was just edged in a tie-break at the No. 2 slot (3-6, 6-1, 7-10). Pazarecki's match also went to a tiebreak at No. 3, which the senior gutted out (7-6, 3-6, 11-9). Badre-Hume won in straight sets (6-3, 7-5) at the No. 4 flight singles. Shaad won at No. 5 (8-4) and Mardakhayev cruised to an 8-2 victory at No. 6.
