Bulldogs Drop Non-Conference Match on the Road at Purchase

Purchase, NY---Playing their second match of an extended road stretch, the Brooklyn College men's soccer team fell at Purchase College, 4-1, in non-conference action on Thursday.  BC moves to 1-4 overall with the loss while the Panthers improved to 1-2 in fron of their home crowd.  Next Up: Brooklyn looks to bounce back on Saturday at William Paterson at 5pm.  

How It Happened
  • Brooklyn struck first, scoring in just the fifth minute of the match on a Bruno Servisi goal assisted by Bradlej Cupi on a long ball in.  
  • The home team responded in 16' before scoring the game-winner three minutes before time expired i the first half.  
  • PC carried their momentum at the end of the first half into the second, scoring in 52' before padding their lead with the final goal of the match in 66'.  
  • Brooklyn finished with an 18-15 edge in shots taken.  However, the Panthers finished with a 9-3 advantage in shots-on-goal.  
For the Bulldogs
  • Servisi's goal came on his lone shot of the match.  
  • Cupi took three shots to go along with his assist.  
  • Adam Moharam and Seif Mokhtar also had shots-on-goal for the match.
