WINCHESTER, Virginia ----- Coming into the last day of the Shenandoah Invitational, the Brooklyn College Women's volleyball team looked to finish strong in their presentation against the McDaniel College Green Terror. In their first ever encounter, it was the Green Terror that would that would come back to take the game in a bone-chilling five sets (25-23, 14-25, 25-20, 20-25, 6-15).
The Brooklyn College Bulldogs (1-4) drop their fourth match in a row after a very competitive Shenandoah Invitational, while the McDaniel Green Terror (2-2) get back to an even record.
The first set featured five tied scores, six lead changes and many runs by both teams. The Bulldogs were up 24-17 late in the first set, a lot thanks to

McDaniel would build off that momentum to take the lead into the second set with a couple of 4-0 runs to take set number two 25-14.
The third set would once again be competitive with ten tied scores, including a 20-20 tie late into the set. The Bulldogs would go on a late 5-0 run, which included a kill by
Danielle Fuxman, to wrap up the third set in their favor 25-20. Fuxman would eventually end up with 6 kills, 1 block, 1 reception, and 7 digs.
The fourth set would have the Green Terror jump to a quick 4-0 lead and never look back, as the Bulldogs would trail all set long and drop it 25-20, sending the game to a deciding fifth set.
Brooklyn would jump off to a quick lead in the fifth set, going on two 2-0 runs. Up 5-3 thanks to three assists by
Amra Mulic to three different Bulldogs, Brooklyn would allow a 5-0 run by McDaniel to lose the lead. Mulic would lead the way with 24 assists, 1 kill, and 9 digs. Despite Brooklyn scoring once more due to an attack error, McDaniel would close out the set on an 8-0 run to take the set and the game three sets to two in a very close first encounter.
