NEWARK, New Jersey ------- Coming into their second to last trimatch of the season, the Brooklyn College women's volleyball team found themselves across the Hudson River for a pair of matches against the hosting Rutgers-Newark University Scarlet Raiders and the Rochester Institute of Technology Tigers. The Bulldogs would keep it close, but would drop the first match of the two against the hosts in three sets [20-25, 20-25, 24-26] and then take it to four sets against RIT [25-19, 14-25, 15-25, 12-25].
After the tri-match, the Brooklyn College Bulldogs (9-13) will look to bounce back, even after looking solid throughout the day. Meanwhile, the Rutgers-Newark University Scarlet Raiders (8-17) improve their record by giving their home fans a victory, and the Rochester Institute of Technology Tigers (7-14) pull a win to break their two-game losing streak.
