BC Women's Volleyball Sweeps Medgar Evers On Senior Night

Bulldogs Ace Test Against Cougars

BROOKLYN, New York ------ Coming into Senior Night, their final home game of the regular season, the Brooklyn College women's volleyball team would come face-to-face with their opponents from across the borough in the Medgar Evers Cougars. Seniors Amra Mulic, Ruti Joshi and Ayatallah Elkotby would be honored prior to the game. All of the seniors would do their part to spark a victory, a sweep [25-6, 25-5, 25-10] to give them a greater chance of hosting a game during the playoffs.

The Brooklyn College Bulldogs (12-14, 5-2 CUNYAC) will finish with a record strong enough to secure a playoff spot in the conference, while the Medgar Evers College Cougars, (0-18, 0-6 CUNYAC) remain winless in the season.

Medgar Evers would get as close as cutting it to three, but Brooklyn would score nine straight to take an early 14-2 lead in the set, propelled by Ruti Joshi as their server, ending the set on an 8-1 run to take it 25-6.
