Brooklyn, NY---With twelve different Bulldogs scoring on the evening, the Brooklyn College women's basketball team cruised to an 88-20 victor over CCNY in their CUNYAC Opener on Friday.  BC improves to 6-1 overall with the win while the Beavers move to 2-6 (0-1 CUNYAC) after winning their last two games. Next Up: Brooklyn returns to their non-conference slate at home on Tuesday against Stevens at 6pm.  

Brooklyn jumped out to a 13-1 lead to start the game capped by an Adunoluwa Akinduyi made jumper.  BC's stifling defense kept CCNY to just one field goal in the first quarter.  

The Bulldogs grabbed a commanding 29-8 lead halfway through the second quarter following a Brianna Jackson layup. BC would head into halftime with a 41-14 advantage.  

BC outscored the Beavers 47-6 in the second half to run away with the win.  The Bulldogs 55 points off of the Beavers' 44 turnovers on the evening.  

Brooklyn senior guard, Dior Dorsey, led the way with a game-high 16 points.  She also grabbed 6 rebounds.  Jackson added 14 points while dishing out 7 assists.  Junior forward, Anna Kitch, grabbed 18 rebounds while chipping in 11 points.  Akinduyi finished with 11 poinjts off of the bench.
