Brooklyn, NY---This past Saturday, the Brooklyn College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) in collaboration with a handful of BC sports teams, hosted 80 Girl Scouts and their families, and Scout Leaders at the West Quad Center for an afternoon of fun, learning, and athletic activities.  

"It is always a great experience for everyone involved," BC Athletics Senior Woman Administrator, Shelby Thomas would comment on the day. "We'd like to thank everyone involved especially the Girl Scouts, Scout Leaders, and their families for a fun and fulfilling day!" 

Upon arrival, the scouts would partake in a number drills and contests led by the BC women's basketball, cheerleading, softball, and women's soccer teams.  Following drills and contests, the day concluded with a question and answer session where the scouts were able to find out more about what it is like to be a college student-athletes from members of the teams.
