New York, NY----The Brooklyn College Men's Volleyball team wasn't able to extend their win streak as the Bulldogs fell at Baruch, 3-0 (25-20, 25-16, 25-17), on Thursday. Brooklyn moves to 8-12 (4-4 CUNYAC) with the conference loss while the Bearcats improved to 10-7 (9-0 CUNYAC). Next Up: Brooklyn returns home on Saturday as they host a trimatch. The Bulldogs will take on John Jay in conference play at 11am and a non-conference match against Sage College at 3pm.
How It Happened
- Brooklyn jumped out to a 4-1 lead to start the match with back-to-back kills by Kevin Seise and Armand Kaloshi. However, with the score tied, 17-17, Baruch made their move, beginning with a four-score rally.
- With the Bearcats already leading 19-14 in the second set, the home team took a 2-0 advantage in the match thanks to five unanswered scores down the stretch.
- Baruch jumped out to a 7-1 lead to start the third set and kept a comfortable lead to close out the match.
For the Bulldogs
- Aaron Siu led the way offensively with 7 kills and served up Brooklyn's lone ace.
- Kaloshi added 5 kills and had a block assist.
- David Lema set for a match-high 22 assists.
- Dion Csikortos came up with a match-high 9 digs.
