Brooklyn, NY---Closing out their regular season on Senior Day, the Brooklyn College men's tennis dropped a 5-2 non-conference decision to the United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) at home on Monday. Brooklyn heads into the upcoming CUNYAC Championship Tournament with a 5-7 overall record while the Mariners improve to 6-3. Next Up: The Bulldogs will play in the CUNYAC Championship Tournament semifinals this Sunday, 4/27, at the USTA National Tennis Center. Time and opponent will be announced later this week.

Ryan Badre-Hume and Maxiliano Jarry Monroy closed out doubles play with a 6-3 win at No. 3.
USMMA would seal the win at No. 5 singles, taking five of six matches of the afternoon. Sham went undefeated on the day, winning at the top-flight (6-7, 6-2, 7-6).
Allen Mardakhayev battled at No. 4 singles, but was eventually outlasted (7-5, 6-3).
