Wayne, NJ----Picking up their second win of the season, Brooklyn College Women's Tennis cruised to a 6-1 non-conference victory at William Paterson on Wednesday. BC improves to 2-1 with the win while the Pioneers dropped their season opener. Next Up: Brooklyn will look to keep their momentum going at St. Joseph's Long Island this Friday, 9/12, at 4:30 pm.
BC took the doubles point with
Alexis Goodman and
Medina Kuc victorious at the top-flight, 6-1. Goodman would go on to win (6-2, 7-5) and No. 2 flight singles while Kuc rolled to a (6-1, 6-0) victory at the No. 3 flight.
Aniyah James won in straight sets at No. 1 flight singles. Anabel Green scored a (6-0, 6-0) shutout and the No. 4 slot in singles.
Kristen Vega rounded out BC's singles wins on the afternoon with another straight set shutout at No. 5 singles.
