Old Westbury, NY----Victorious in their last two matches, the Brooklyn College men's soccer team had their streak snapped in non-conference play at the College at Old Westbury on Saturday, 3-0. BC moves to 2-3 overall with the loss while the Panthers improved to 3-2. Next Up: Brooklyn will look to bounce back at home where they are undefeated against Purchase College on Tuesday, 9/16, at 6pm.
The home team struck first in the early minutes of the match as Henrik Ropstad scored his first goal of the half in 7'. He would give the Panthers a 2-0 lead in 15'. OW outshot BC 11-1 in the first half. Old Westbury added an insurance goal in 52'.
