Brooklyn, NY---Following a 0-0 halftime score, the Brooklyn College women's soccer team wasn't quite able to hold off a second half attack, falling to Bard College, 2-0, on Saturday at BC Field.  Brooklyn moves to 2-3 with the non-conference loss while the Raptors improve to 3-1.  Next Up: Brooklyn will look to get back in the win column at home against Penn State Brandywine on Wednesday, 9/17, at 6pm. 

A defensive battle through the first 45 minutes of play, Bard finished the half with a 6-0 advantage in shots taken.  Brooklyn goalie, April Hartje was able to make three saves in the first half to keep the score deadlocked.  

The Raptors broke the tie in 61' on a Goldie Siff goal.  The Bulldogs had an opportunity for the equalizer in 78' as Kaylenn Arias fired off a shot that was saved.  It was Brooklyn's lone shot-on-goal of the afternoon.  

Bard added an insurance goal in 88' for the final score.  

Brooklyn's Alyssa Hardison took a pair of shots on the afternoon.  Hartje collected a total of five saves on the day in all 90 minutes of action.
