New Haven, CT----BC Women's Soccer suffered a tough non-conference loss at Albertus Magnus College on Tuesday night, 6-0. Brooklyn drops to 2-7 overall with the loss while the Falcons improved to 7-1-2. Next Up: Brooklyn returns home for another non-conference clash on Friday, 10/3, against New Jersey City U. at 3pm.
The home team didn't waste much time getting themselves on the scoreboard by scoring the game-winner in 1'. AMC took a 3-0 lead by halftime after the Falcons' Tyler Stocking netted her second goal of the first half. The Falcons outshot Brooklyn, 10-1, in the first 45 minutes of play.
Albertus Magnus scored twice in the first five minutes of the second half for a commanding 5-0 lead before tacking another goal on in 83'.
All three of Brooklyn's shots on the evening were on-frame. Both of
Julissa Chino's shots were saved.
Chelsea Gonzalez also had a shot that was saved by the Falcons' keeper.
