Bulldogs Roll to Third Straight Win at Home Over Baruch

Brooklyn, NY----Brooklyn junior guard, Brianna Jackson, scored 16 points and dished out 11 assists as the Brooklyn College women's basketball team cruised to their third straight win at home over Baruch, 88-43, on Wednesday.  Brooklyn improves to 10-3 (3-0 CUNYAC) with the conference win while the Bearcats drop to 5-9 (1-2 CUNYAC).  Next Up: Brooklyn will look to keep their undefeated 2026 rolling as they travel to Medgar Evers for a conference tilt on Friday at 5pm.  

Brooklyn jumped out to an 8-0 lead to start the contest including back-to-back threes drained by Dior Dorsey and Aaliyah McCalla.  McCalla shot 3-6 from behind the arc on the evening.  The Bulldogs grabbed a 27-8 to close out the first quarter following a make in the paint finished by sophomore forward, Danae McMullen, at the buzzer.  

The Bulldogs continued to cruise in the second quarter, opening with a 7-0 run capped by a McCalla three-point make.  Brooklyn would go onto lead by as many as 35 points in the first half.  

There was no letdown in the second half as 11 different Bulldogs scored on the evening.  Freshman forward, Ariel Williams, scored an efficient 12 points in 18 minutes of action off of the bench.  

The Bulldogs outscored Baruch 50-5 in points off of turnovers on the evening.  

Baruch was led by Isabella Kostyal-Larrier's team-high 14 points.  

Jackson came up with 6 steals to go along with her game-highs in points and assists.  Anna Kitch added 12 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.  McCalla ended up with 11 points.
