New York, NY----Extending their win-streak to 13 games, the Brooklyn College women's basketball scored their season-high in 98-71 conference victory at John Jay on Wednesday.  Brooklyn improved to 20-3 (12-0 CUNYAC) with the win while the Bloodhounds dropped to 9-14 (7-5 CUNYAC).  Next Up: Brooklyn will host their final two regular season games beginning with a CUNYAC tilt with York on Friday, 2/13, at 5pm.

The Bulldogs set the tone from their opening possession beginning with an Anna Kitch three-point make in the first two seconds of the contest.  Leading 5-4, the Bulldogs went on a 15-0 run sparked by a Brianna Jackson made jumper.  BC kicked their lead up to 33-11 before closing out the first quarter with a 33-14 advantage.  The Bulldogs shot 7-14 from behind the arc in the first quarter.

John Jay outscored Brooklyn 24-15 in the second quarter to cut the BC lead to 48-38 by halftime.  That is as close as the home team would get for the remainder of the game as the Bulldogs opened up the second half on a 7-1 run.  The Bulldogs finished the game with their largest lead of the contest.

The Bulldogs doubled up John Jay in points off of turnovers, 26-13, and outscored the Bloodhounds, 20-11, on second chances.
