PISCATAWAY, NJ ----- Coming into the first day of the Metroplitan Collegiate Swimming and Diving Championships, the Brooklyn College men's swimming and diving team would continue the postseason after a strong finish in the CUNYAC Championships, where they would finish second. With different competition against them, they would finish the day in the top five for the METS Championships.
Michael Kravets would continue to shine for the men's side, finishing in third place for Event 4's 500 yard freestyle with a time of 4:55.76, just short of two swimmers from Roberts Wesleyan University.
Andrew Woo would finish seventh in an Event 6 race filled with sixteen swimmers, posting a time of 2:08.06 in the 200 yard Individual Medley.
In an event featuring twenty-four swimmers,
Or Volpert would finish seventh, posting a time of 22.69 in the 50 yard freestyle.
Up next, the Brooklyn College men's team continues their postseason on Valentine's Day, Saturday, February 14th with events scheduled at 10:45am and the second half at 5:30pm at the Rutgers University Aquatics center in Piscataway, New Jersey.
