Brooklyn, NY---The top seeded Brooklyn College Women's Basketball Team defended their home court on Wednesday night, cruising to a 95-80 victory over the #4 seed, John Jay. With the win, the Bulldogs will be back in the championship game for the 11th consecutive season, as they will head to Baruch College on Friday evening to take on the #2 seed, Hunter, at 6:30 pm. How It Happened
- Brooklyn led 43-37 at the intermission, but started the second half on a 21-4 run, taking a commanding 64-41 lead with 6:25 remaining in the 3rd quarter.
- All five Bulldog starters scored during that impressive run, scoring 21 points with only 3:35 coming off of the clock.
- John Jay was able to stay competitive due to their effort on the glass, out-rebounding BC 60-49.
- The Bulldogs showed their dominance in the open court with 22 steals, converted into 31 points in transition.
- Brooklyn also dominated from beyond the arc, knocking down 9 threes, including three makes from Anna Kitch.
