Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Brooklyn, NY----Closing out the regular season on Senior Day at home, the Brooklyn College softball team rolled to a pair of conference wins over York on Monday.  BC took Game 1, 18-5 (5 Innings), before capping the day with a 16-0 win.  Prior to first pitch, Brooklyn seniors, Sage Bernstein and Lianna Gonzalez, were recognized.  Brooklyn closes out the regular season with a 15-23 (6-4 CUNYAC) record while the Cardinals drop to 2-20 (0-10 CUNYAC)  Next Up: The Bulldogs await their seeding for the upcoming CUNYAC Championship Tournament scheduled to begin on Thursday at Brooklyn College Field.  Please visit brooklyncollegeathletics.com for updates.  

Game 1 Recap | Brooklyn- 18, York- 5 (5 Innings)

After conceding a run in the top of the first inning, Brooklyn responded emphatically with an eight-run bottom half. The Bulldogs added two more runs in the second and broke the game wide open with a seven-run third inning to take a commanding 17-2 lead.

Brooklyn finished with 15 hits in the contest, highlighted by a perfect 4-for-4 performance from Bernstein, who drove in three runs and scored twice. Lianna Gonzalez also had a standout day, going 2-for-2 with three runs scored, an RBI, and three stolen bases while reaching base four times via hit-by-pitch. Katelyn Young contributed with a 2-for-3 effort, including a triple and an RBI, while Jazlyn Roberts added a hit and drove in a run.

The Bulldogs showcased their depth throughout the lineup, drawing seven walks and taking advantage of four York errors, which led to several unearned runs.

Jaymie Mateo led York offensively, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI, while Melina Abreu added a hit and an RBI.

Kureshma Dhanraj earned the win in the circle for Brooklyn for her seventh victory of the season.The right-hander tossed a complete five-inning game, allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits while striking out five.

Simranjit Kaur took the loss for York, surrendering 18 runs (11 earned) on 15 hits over four innings of work.

Game 2 Recap | Brooklyn- 16 , York- 0 (5 Innings)

Brooklyn set the tone immediately with an eight-run first inning. The Bulldogs drew 21 walks in the game, including 16 in the opening frame alone, forcing across multiple runs before recording a hit. Haylee Burleigh delivered the inning's lone hit, an RBI single, as Brooklyn took an early 8-0 lead.

The Bulldogs added two more runs in the second inning, again using disciplined at-bats to extend the advantage to 10-0. Brooklyn broke the game open in the third, scoring six runs on five hits. The highlight came off the bat of Trinity Guadalupe, who cracked a grand slam to cap the scoring and give Brooklyn a commanding 16-0 lead.

In the circle, Jessica Bowe was in complete control, tossing a complete-game shutout over five innings. The right-hander allowed just two hits while striking out seven and walking one to improve to 8-7 on the season.

Offensively, Brooklyn finished with six hits and made the most of their opportunities. Guadalupe led the way with four RBIs on her home run, while multiple players reached base several times in the walk-heavy contest.

York managed just two hits in the game, with Abreu recording a triple and Samantha Panameno adding a single.
