Brooklyn, NY----Announced by the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) on Monday, the Brooklyn College Women's Soccer team was picked third in the 2026 Preseason Coaches Poll. John Jay was picked to three-peat as conference champs. In addition, Brooklyn junior midfielder, Chelsea Gonzalez, was selected as a Player to Watch for the second straight preseason.  The Bulldogs open their latest campaign on Tuesday, 9/1, at Cedar Crest College at 6pm.

Entering his fifth season at the helm of the program, Head Coach Agathangelos Tsantsaridis guided the 2025 squad to a 2-1-1 conference mark and the No. 2 seed in the CUNYAC Championship Tournament.  

Last season, Gonzalez started all of Brooklyn's 16 matches and finished second on the team with four assists.
