Andres Pertuz Named October Male Student-Athlete of the Month
Junior Andres Pertuz made an immediate impact to the Brooklyn College Men’s Soccer team this season helping lead the Bulldogs to a second place finish in the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC), after coming to BC from National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) member Texas College.
Playing in seven games in the month, while making six starts, Pertuz tallied four goals, to go with two assists, for 10 points.
The Colombian native had his best game of the month on October 20th against Medgar Evers College totaling two goals, including the game winner.
He also accounted for BC’s lone goal against Hunter College on October 1st to start off the month and also added a goal and an assist in a 2-0 win over York College on October 22nd.
For his efforts, Pertuz has been named the Brooklyn College Male Student-Athlete of the Month, for the month of October.
