Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Women's Basketball Team (10-3, 3-1 CUNYAC) won their sixth straight game, knocking off borough rival Medgar Evers College (6-8, 2-2 CUNYAC) by the score of 81-70.
Priscilla Ramirez (Franklin D. Roosevelt / Brooklyn, NY) had the hot hand for BC scoring 32 points, while dishing out six assists and notching nine steals. Ramirez was 11 for 22 from the field and also grabbed six boards.
Freshman center
Justine O'Callahan (Floral Park / Floral Park, NY) reached double figures as well, scoring 10 points and grabbing six boards in the win.
Amber Gordon (Bishop Loughlin / Brooklyn, NY) and
Jasmine Campbell (Copiague / Copiague, NY) each chipped in with nine points off the BC bench.
Shakimba Pierre led Medgar Evers with 22 points and 14 boards.
BC will be back in action on Wednesday as they head to John Jay for a conference battle.
