Jackson and Kitch Earn All-Met Honors

Brooklyn, NY----Announced by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association on Monday, Brooklyn College junior guard, Brianna Jackson, has been named Seond Team All-Met while senior forward, Anna Kitch, was picked Third Team All-Met.  The duo helped Brooklyn to a 24-5 overall record, a CUNYAC Regular Season title, a CUNYAC Championship appearance, and an ECAC Championship appearance.  Jackson and Kitch will be recognized at the organization's 93rd Haggerty Awards on April 23.  

Jackson finished the season as the nation's assists leader with 198 for the year.  She led the Bulldogs in scoring, averaging 13.2 points per game and finished third in CUNYAC in steals with 110 on the season.  She dished out double digits in assists six times on the regular season.  Jackson has also been named to the All-CUNYAC First Team and All-Region Second Team by D3Hoops.com this season.  

Kitch was also named First Team All-CUNYAC after another standout season, ranking first on the team in rebounding (9.8 rpg), second in scoring (11.9 ppg), and first in three-point field goals (44).  She has also been recognized off of the court, recently named to the College Sports Communicators Aacademic All-District Team.
