Jamaica, NY---The Brooklyn College Men's Tennis Team (1-2, 1-1 CUNYAC) got their first victory of the season as they knocked off conference foe York College (0-2, 0-1 CUNYAC) on Friday afternoon.

Elliot Hirsch (Yeshiva of Flatbush / Brooklyn, NY) and Johnny Rolando (Abraham Lincoln / Brooklyn, NY) each won their singles matches in straight sets, while not letting their opponents win a game, earning 6-0, 6-0 victories.  

The only match that York was able to win was #1 doubles, as BC swept singles to earn their first victory, evening their conference record at 1-1 on the season.

Brooklyn will return to action on Sunday as they will travel to play Polytechnic University at 1 pm.
