Flushing, NY---The Brooklyn College Men's Tennis Team (2-10) met the #2 seed, Hunter College (11-3), in the CUNYAC Tournament quarterfinal round on Tuesday and they could not pull off the upset as they fell, 5-0.

The Bridges fell behind early, as the Hawks swept all three doubles flights.  The BC tandem of Johnny Rolando (Abraham Lincoln / Brooklyn, NY) and Vesna Tan (New Utrecht / Brooklyn, NY) battled the Hunter pairing of Noel Marrero and Ian Katz at Number Three Doubles but eventually fell 8-6.

In sinlges action, Hunter pulled off a pair of quick 6-0, 6-0 triumphs at Number Three and Number Six Singles to earn the required five points for victory.  BC's Number One player Elliot Hirsch (Yeshiva of Flatbush) had a 5-4 advantage in the first set of his match before play was halted.
