Brooklyn, NY --- The Brooklyn College Men's Soccer team fell to the Bloodhounds of John Jay College of Criminal Justice in a CUNY Athletic Conference match earlier today by the score of 2-0 at Kingsborough Community College Field. With the loss, the Bulldogs drop to 2-10-2 on the season, 1-6-1 in the conference; while the Bloodhounds improve to 6-8-2 overall, 3-4-2 in league play.
John Jay set the tone of the ballgame from the start of the whistle, maintaining control of the ball throughout the first half. The Bloodhounds offensive pressure finally paid off in the 20th minute, when M. Nasim Allah Morad took a pass from teammates Steven Castillo and Jason Walker to slide in the first goal of the game past the diving keeper.
The visitors would maintain a 1-0 advantage until the 63rd minute of play, when Allah Morad struck again for his second goal of the game and the 2-0 final, this time coming with the help of Kareem Roberts and Walker once again.
Both teams play a physical match throughout the game, with John Jay committing 13 fouls, compared to Brooklyn's 10. Four cards (three yellow and one red) were also handed out, with the Bulldogs receiving two yellows and a red card.

Stamatis Boundouris (Brooklyn, NY/Xaverian) faced 24 total shots in the game, while recording eight saves.
Brooklyn will be back in action this Monday, October 18th, when the Bulldogs will host the Beavers of CCNY in a CUNYAC matchup. The game, which is the final home BC Men's Soccer contest of the 2010 season, is scheduled to begin at 4:00 pm.
