Staten Island, NY --- The Brooklyn College Men's Tennis team dropped a CUNYAC match-up to the Dolphins of the College of Staten Island, 6-3, this afternoon at the CSI Tennis Center. With the loss, the Bulldogs drop to 5-5 overall on the season and 3-4 in the CUNYAC, while the Dolphins improve to 11-5 on the year and remain unbeaten in league play at 4-0. 

Freshman Matthew Micharlsen (Garden City, NY/Garden City and senior Nam Nguyen (Vietnam/Bui Thi Xuan) were both strong in their respective singles competitions, as each player won their flights at number 5 and number six. Micharlsen downed Robert Hargraves, 6-3, 6-3, while Nguyen took care of Dennis Huang, 6-3, 6-3. 

Brooklyn is back in action tomorrow, Saturday, April 17th, as the Bulldogs will travel to Bronxville, NY to take on Sarah Lawrence College in a non-conference tilt. The match is slated for a noon start.
