Flushing, NY --- The #7 seeded Brooklyn College Men's Tennis team fell to the #2 seeded Hawks of Hunter College, 5-0, earlier today at the National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY, in the Quarterfinal round of the 2010 CUNYAC Men's Tennis Championships. The Bulldogs end the season with a 7-8 record, while the Hawks improve to 13-3 on the year and advance to the Semifinal Round to be held on Tuesday, May 4th, at the National Tennis Center.

Johnny Rolando (Brooklyn, NY/Abraham Lincoln) dropped a hard fought match at number 1 singles against the duo of Yevgeny Perepelov and Irving Salazar, 8-4.
Freshman
Matthew Micharlsen (Garden City, NY/Garden City) was the lone bright spot for the Bulldogs, as he was ahead of Ian Katz at number 5 singles, 6-3, 0-1. The match would go unfinished as the Hawks picked up the clinching fifth win at number 3 singles that saw Noel Marrero down senior
Jeffrey Deng (Oakland Gardens, NY/New Utrecht), 6-1, 6-1.
