Box Score Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Bulldogs headed up Bedford Avenue to take on borough rival Medgar Evers College in a CUNY Athletic Conference battle on Tuesday night at the Cougars Cove. The Bulldogs received scoring from 13 of the 14 players who suited up, to earn their third straight victory and improve to 7-2 (2-1 CUNYAC) on the season. Medgar Evers falls to 0-11, 0-4 CUNYAC after the 77-10 loss.
Senior guard
Brittany Bowen scored a game-high 14 points, doing most of her damage from beyond the arc going 4-for-6, while playing in just 10 minutes. Classmates
Tiffany Thompson and
Charnelle Saint Laurent each finished the evening with nine points, while juniors
Allison Donovan and
T'Keyah Francis both added eight points apiece.
For the game, Brooklyn shot 42.9% (30-70) from the field and 44.4% (8-18) from beyond the arc. The Bulldogs also shot 69.2% (9-13) from the foul line.
BC will return to action on Saturday, December 29th, as the Bulldogs will play host to the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00 pm at the West Quad Center.
