Brooklyn, NY --- The Brooklyn College Men's Tennis team fell to the visiting Panthers of Purchase College, 9-0, on Sunday afternoon at the Roosevelt Courts on the BC campus.

Purchase took early command of the match by sweeping doubles play.

The Panthers' momentum from doubles action would carry into singles play, as the visitors would take on six flights en route to the 9-0 shutout win.

The match of the day was at the top, as Elliot Haddad and Riley Damerell played to a third set tiebreaker. Haddad took the opening set 6-3, while Damerell bounced back to take a 6-3 win in the second. Damerell would complete his comeback win, taking the third set tiebreaker 10-6.

Brooklyn will be back in action this Tuesday, March 24th, as the Bulldogs will welcome Mount Saint Mary College (NY) to the Roosevelt Courts. The match is scheduled for a 4:00 pm start time.
