The Bronx, NY --- The Brooklyn College Men's Tennis team (5-8 overall) fell to the Lightning of Lehman College (3-7) by a score of 7-2 on Saturday afternoon at the APEX Tennis Courts.

Coming into the match undermanned, the Bulldogs would begin the match trailing 3-0 due to defaulting #3 doubles and #5 and #6 singles.

The Lightning would enter singles play up 5-0 after taking #1 and #2 doubles by scores of 8-2 and 8-3, respectively.

Brooklyn would see its two victories come at the top two spots, as Charles Stevens (6-1, 6-2 at #1 singles) and Stanley Purcell (7-5, 6-2 at #2 singles) won their respective singles matches.

Lehman would take #3 and #4 singles to complete its 7-2 win.
