Newark, NJ---The Brooklyn College men's tennis team dropped their second non-conference match in a row this afternoon at Rutgers-Newark, 9-0. The Bulldogs drop to 1-2 overall on the season. BC will host Baruch in conference action on Tuesday March 29. The CUNYAC match is slated for a 4:00 PM start.
Sophomore
Ashley Matthieu put up the most fight on the afternoon against the Scarlet Knights, falling in a two-set tiebreaker (6-7, 6-3, 10-7) in #1 singles action. Rutgers-Newark would roll in the majority of the rest of the matches played in both singles and doubles.
