Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College men's tennis team dropped their final match of the regular season, 9-0, in CUNYAC play at home on Thursday against Lehman. BC ends the regular season with a 4-7 overall record including 3-4 in the conference. Lehman improved to 5-9 and 3-4 with the sweep. The Bulldogs received the No. 6 seed in the upcoming CUNYAC Championships where they will play No. 3 John Jay in the quarterfinals.
The Lightning used momentum from a tie-breaker victory in No. 1 doubles that helped them sweep doubles competition into singles, sweeping singles competition as well.
Gabriel Pariente forced a third set at No. 5 singles, winning the second set convincingly 6-1. However, Lehman got back on track to win the match in the final set.
