Patchogue, NY---The Brooklyn College dropped both matches of a tri-match at St. Joseph's College Long Island today. In the first match of the day, the Bulldogs dropped a 3-1 decision at the hands of the host. The Bulldogs closed out the afternoon with a 3-0 loss to Buena Vista University. BC moves to 15-12 with the two non-conference defeats.
Match Notes vs. St. Joseph's Long Island
-After losing the first game, 25-17, the Bulldogs tied the match with a 25-22 victory in a second game where BC controlled the later parts of the game beginning with a five-point swing that gave them a 20-16 advantage.
-St. Joe's used a ten-point rally to a 25-13 win in the third game.
-BC made a strong stand in the fourth game to force a final set, leading 22-20 down the stretch, the Golden Eagles rallied for four straight to take the lead for good and win the match.
-The Bulldogs were led by senior outside hitter Sarina Rozek's match-high 13 kills.
-Sophomore libero,
Jailene Paredes, finished with a match-high 29 digs.
Match Notes Vs. Buena Vista
-The visitor from Iowa rolled in the first two games with back-to-back convincing wins.
-BC battled in the third game, but eventually falling to the Beavers, 25-0.

-The Bulldogs close out CUNYAC play on Tuesday at Lehman College. Opening serve is set for 6:00 pm.
