Fresh Meadows, NY---The Brooklyn College men's tennis team picked up their first conference win of the season this afternoon, defeating John Jay 5-2. Brooklyn improves to 2-1 with the win. John Jay dropped to 0-4 and 0-2 in CUNYAC to start the season. The Bulldogs remain in conference play on the road against Baruch on Tuesday.

Michael Dozortsev picked up a win at No. 1 singles (6-0, 6-2) to improve to 2-1 in singles play at the No. 1 position for the season. Junior
Albert Benjamin sealed the team victory with a convincing win at No. 3 singles (6-0, 6-1). It would be his first win in his first match of the season.
