Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College men's tennis team dropped a conference match to the College of Staten Island this afternoon, falling to 1-2 in conference play. CSI improved to 3-1 in CUNYAC with the victory. Brooklyn is now 2-5 overall on the season. The Bulldogs remain home for a non-conference match against Farmingdale State on Thursday with doubles played scheduled for a 4:00 pm start.
Freshman
Michael Dozortsev was a perfect 2-0 individually for the day helping his doubles pair to an 8-5 victory before winning at No. 1 singles 7-5, 6-4. After winning the first set 6-4 at No. 2 singles, freshman
Julian Calame-Mars was edged 7-6 in the second set and lost the tie-breaker, 10-4. However, he picked up a win with Dozortsev at No. 1 doubles.
