Jamaica, NY---The Brooklyn College men's tennis team moved to .500 (2-2) in conference play this afternoon, rolling to an 8-1 victory at York College. BC improves to 3-6 overall with the victory. York dropped to 0-11 with the loss. The Bulldogs will be back in action on Wednesday as they take on Hunter College at the Roosevelt Courts on the Brooklyn College campus. Doubles play is set for 4:30 pm.
"We gave great effort at every position today including a comeback victory for Kevin [Gryka] at No. 4 singles," explained first-year BC head coach, Davis Wallis.
"Michael [Dozortsev] continued to impress with multiple forehand winners right down the line. Player of the match would have to go to our senior Yaoming Jiang who picked up two victories on the day in convincing fashion," Wallis would go on to say.
