BROOKLYN COLLEGE Brooklyn, NY----The Brooklyn men's tennis team won their second match in a row, defeating local foe, St. Joseph's College Brooklyn, 6-3, this afternoon in non-conference action. BC improves to 4-6 overall with the win while the Bears dropped to 1-7 in defeat. Brooklyn returns to CUNYAC play at Lehman on Saturday with doubles play scheduled to begin at 1:30 pm.

David Wallis, BC head coach, would say after the match. "We were able to pull out some close games, which is what you want to see."
The Bulldogs began the match by winning two of the three doubles matches played. In singles, BC would win in straight sets in the No. 1 through No. 3 slots. Sophomore
Travis Burge closed out the match with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles.
