Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Bulldogs improved to 13-2, 5-1 CUNYAC on Thursday evening as they downed the visiting York College Cardinals, 73-35.  The Bulldogs have now won six straight, and picked up their second conference win in three days.  Brooklyn has one more conference game this week, as they'll return to West Quad on Saturday to take on Baruch at 12:30.The Cardinals fall to 3-11 on the season.

How it Happened

Brooklyn, who had three starters in double-figures, took a 23-7 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back.  Brooklyn dominated in every statistical category, with the exception of the charity stripe, where they only hit on 2-10.

The Bulldogs hit on 13 attempts from beyond the arc, while shooting 36% from downtown. Brooklyn dominated the offensive glass, pulling down 28 of their total 51 boards on their own misses.  BC also forced 39 turnovers, while nabbing 21 steals.

Karen Mak was all over the stat sheet with 15 points, 7 assists and 8 steals.  Alexandra Moogan knocked down 4-9 from three-point range, while chipping in defensively with 12 points, two blocks and two steals. Jasmine Hansgen filled up the stat sheet as well, scoring 8 points, grabbing 7 boards and dishing out 8 assists in 24 minutes.  Taylor George was also hot from three, knocking down 3-6, while scoring 11 points and dishing out two assists.  Chanel Jemmott scored 8 points and pulled down 8 boards in only 16 minutes.
