Brooklyn, NY---Starting 2018 with a win, the Bulldogs jumped all over the Bloodhounds early, taking a 19-3 lead after the first quarter, and never looked back, improving to 9-2, 2-1 CUNYAC on the season with the 79-29 win. 

How It Happened

-All 11 players who dressed scored for the Bulldogs, as the Brooklyn bench poured in 43 points in the contest.
-Brooklyn scored 44 second-half points, while shooting 49% from the field.

Box Score Breakdown 

-BC out-rebounded the Bloodhounds 68-30, and held John Jay to a dismal 17% shooting from the field.
-Brooklyn nabbed 22 steals as a team, forcing 31 John Jay turnovers.

Leading the Bulldogs

-Freshman Chanel Jemmott led all players with 17 points, while also pulling down 13 boards in only 20 minutes of action.
-Jasmine Hansgen topped all rebounders with 15, including 10 on the offensive glass.  
-Freshman guard Michelle Pena had career-highs of six points and six assists off the Brooklyn bench.
