Doylestown, PA---Never trailing the entire game, the Brooklyn College women's basketball team rolled to its second straight victory to start the season this evening at Delaware Valley, 76-56. Del Val drops to 3-2 with the non-conference loss at home. The Bulldogs open conference play at home on Friday, November 30, against York College at 5:00 pm. The men's game will follow at 7:15 pm. Friday is Basketball Homecoming Night - the first 450 fans will receive a FREE BC Athletics t-shirt.
How It Happened
-The Bulldogs jumped out to a 23-5 lead by the end of the first period after scoring the first eight points of the contest.
-The Aggies responded in the second period, cutting the BC 36-28. Delaware Valley came as close as points of the Bulldogs with 2:23 left in the first half.
-Brooklyn regained a double-digit following a lay-up finished by senior wing,
Alexandra Moogan early in the third period. Moogan would put the Bulldogs up by 20 with a made three with 1:54 left in the third.
-BC opened the final period with a 9-3 run and never looked back.
Leading the Bulldogs
-Moogan scored a game-high 22 points, knocking down 5-10 shots from beyond the arc.
-Sophomore forward,
Chanel Jemmott, recorded the game's only double-double finishing with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
-Senior forward
Jasmine Hansgen scored an efficient 10 points on 5-6 from the floor. She also grabbed six boards in the win.
-Junior forward,
Dionna Rogers, came off of the bench to grab a game-high 13 reounds while chipping seven points.

-Domanique Moser scored a team-high 13 points, grabbed six rebounds, and dished out five assists.
