Brooklyn, NY --- The Brooklyn College Women's Basketball Team improved to 3-0 on the season, and earned their first conference victory, by posting a 102-47 win over visiting York on Friday night at West Quad.  The game was a part of the Bulldogs first conference doubleheader and basketball homecoming.  

How It Happened

• The Bulldogs put up a 30 point first quarter, and never looked back, scoring 90 points over the first three quarters.
• All 14 Brooklyn players who suited up saw action, with 11 getting into the scoring column.
• Brooklyn was able to force 44 turnovers and nab 27 steals.

Leading the Bulldogs

• Alexandra Moogan led all scorers with 17 points in only 17 minutes of action
• Chanel Jemmott was dominant, with 16 points on 7-10 from the field, and 2-2 from three-point range.
• Lauryn Clarke-Cornette led all reserves with 15 points, while Taylor George also got in double figures with 13, while nabbing a game-high 8 steals.
• Dionna Rogers had a team-high 12 boards, while Kayla Trembone led the assist column with 9.

• York's Mac-Dege Dessources had a double-double of 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Brooklyn will be home tomorrow to battle the two-time defending NCAA Division III Champions, Amherst College, at 5 pm.
