Men's Tennis Opens 2018 Season With Conference Win Over Lehman, 7-2

Box Score Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College men's tennis team prevailed to victory to start the 2018 season this afternoon, rolling to a 7-2 victory in conference play over Lehman College.  Lehman drops to 0-1 to start the season.  The Bulldogs take to the road on Sunday, March 18th, for a non-conference match at Rutgers-Camden at 12:00 pm.  

Brooklyn battled for a pair of tie-breaking wins at No. 4 singles with freshman Arie Monas winning a super tie-breaker 10-5 and sophomore Chevaughn Mattis taking the tie-breaker, 7-3, at No. 6 singles. Freshman No. 1 Justin Vasquez lost a heartbreaking tie-breaker, 8-6.
