Jamaica, NY---The Brooklyn College cheerleading team closed out the 2017-18 season last night at the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) Championships hosted by York College. BC finished in Fourth Place finishing with 43.15 team points.
The College of Staten Island would take home the top prize, winning its first conference title since 2012 finishing with 76.2 points. Defending champ, John Jay, finished in Second Place with 63.7 points and Lehman took home Third Place with 57.2 points.
Brooklyn sophomore,
Rachel Colangelo, would be named to the conference's Sportsmanship Team.

Its second championship performance of the season, Brooklyn Cheerleading competed at the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) College National Championships in January at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Disney among the nation's best.
