Jamaica, NY---The Brooklyn College women's basketball team rolled to its sixth straight win to improve to 8-1 in CUNYAC at York College, 72-35, this evening. Brooklyn moves to 12-6 overall while York dropped to 3-16 and 2-8 in the conference. The Bulldogs continue conference play on the road on Friday at Hunter College at 5:00 pm.
How It Happened
-Never trailing the entire contest, the Bulldogs built a 38-20 lead at the half. The Bulldogs continued their control through the second half and closed out the contest with their largest lead of the game.
-Three BC starters reached double-figures in scoring and all seven Bulldogs that saw action tonight scored at least six points.
-Brooklyn scored 52 points on turnovers and second chances to the Cardinals' ten. The Bulldogs out-rebounded York 22-10 on the offensive boards.
Leading the Bulldogs
-Sophomore forward,
Chanel Jemmott, produced her sixth double-double in a row finishing with a game-high 20 points and 12 rebounds.
-Senior guard,
Alexandra Moogan, joined Jemmott in the double-double club with 13 points and ten rebounds.
-Freshman guard,
Kayla Trembone, came off of the bench to dish out a game-high seven assists to go along with seven points and four steals.

-Ellma Hodzic scored a team-high 15 points making four threes on the evening.
