New York, NY---With five Bulldogs reaching double-figures in scoring for the night, the Brooklyn College women's basketball team rolled to a 90-51 win at Baruch College this evening. Brooklyn improves to 7-6 overall and 4-1 in CUNYAC with the victory while Baruch drops to 3-8 overall and 2-4 in the conference. The Bulldogs return home on Friday to host CCNY for a conference doubleheader with the women's game tipping off at 6:00 pm.
How It Happened
-Five Bulldogs combined for 81 points including four starters.
-Brooklyn outscored the Bearcats by 26 points in the second half.
-The Bulldogs limited Baruch to only one field goal in the fourth quarter.
-Brooklyn began to pull away towards the end of the first half after being tied 16-16 early in the second quarter. The Bulldogs closed out the first half with a 14-6 run for a 39-26 halftime advantage.

-Sophomore guard,
Taylor George scored a game-high 23 points and dished out four assists.
-Sophomore forward,
Chanel Jemmott finished with 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for one of two Brooklyn double-doubles. Senior guard,
Alexandra Moogan, finished with the other double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds. Senior forward,
Jasmine Hansgen, flirted with the third double-double finishing with 14 points and nine rebounds.
-Junior guard,
Grace Martinez-Espina, scored 13 points and grabbed five rebounds off of the bench.

-Melinda Spahiu scored a team-high 14 points and grabbed eight boards.
