Box Score Purchase, NY---The Brooklyn men's tennis team dropped its Season Opener at Purchase this afternoon.  Purchase improved to 2-0 with the non-conference victory.  Brooklyn will play its Home Opener on Tuesday, March 19, against non-conference opponent, Fairleigh Dickinson, on the Roosevelt Courts at 3:30 pm.  

Brooklyn sophomore gave Brooklyn its first singles win of the afternoon at the No. 4 Flight defeating Purchase's Finbar Stuart (6-4, 6-4).  BC freshman, Christian Pena, defeated PC's Brian Doherty 8-3 at the No. 6 Flight for the Bulldogs' other singles win of the afternoon.  Pena was undefeated for the match as he teamed up with freshman Remi Lawrence to defeat Austin Schmitt and Park Changhun at No. 3 doubles.
