Patchogue, NY---The Brooklyn College men's tennis team bounced back in a big way after yesterday's 6-3 defeat at Rutgers-Newark by rolling to a 7-2 win at St. Joseph's College Long Island this afternoon. Brooklyn improves to 6-6 with the non-conference victory while the Golden Eagles drop to 3-6. The Bulldogs return to conference play against 2018 CUNYAC Champion, Baruch College, on Tuesday at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center at 3:30 pm.
After taking two of three doubles matches, the Bulldogs would win flights No. 1 through No. 5 in singles. Freshman Remi Laurnece has continued to play well since being inserted into the singles lineup. He would pull out an 8-4 win at the No. 3 slot this afternoon.
