Box Score Brooklyn, NY---The Visiting Rutgers Newark Scarlet Raiders came to BC Field and took a commanding 9-0 non-conference victory.  Brooklyn falls to 0-3 on the season, as Rutgers improves to 5-0. 

The Bulldogs gave a good first half effort in staying within striking distance, down by a 2-0 score at the intermission.  Goalkeeper Angelina Vasta gave a tremendous effort on the day, finishing with 19 saves.

Sabria Glasgow and Bailey Kellenberger were the stars for Rutgers, scoring two goals a piece, while Kellenberger also assisted on a score.

The Scarlet Raiders produced 28 shots on goal, while Brooklyn was shutout in that department.

The Bulldogs will be back in action this weekend, as they head to Pennsylvania on Saturday to take on Cairn University in a 3 pm start.
