New Staff Introduction: Vincent Proscia - Strength and Conditioning Coach

Vincent Proscia joined Brooklyn College Athletics as the Strength and Conditioning Coach in March 2026, bringing more than a decade of experience in sports performance training, coaching, and athletic development. As the founder and owner of Pros Performance Systems, Proscia has built a reputation for helping athletes and adults maximize their performance through sound programming, proper technique, and progressive training methods.

A former student-athlete, Proscia played football at Xaverian High School before continuing his career at Division III William Paterson University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. After graduating, he gained valuable experience through internships with the strength and conditioning programs at Fordham University and Iona College, as well as with the New York Giants organization.

Proscia has gone on to earn his Masters degree in Sports and Recreation with a concentration in Coaching Education from Ohio University.

In addition to his training expertise, Proscia has accumulated over a decade of coaching experience with the Xaverian High School varsity football program. His professional background includes two years as a performance coach at Parisi Speed School in Staten Island, where he trained athletes of all ages in speed, strength, and conditioning, and nine years with New York Sports Clubs, serving as an Area Fitness Manager overseeing five Brooklyn locations.
In 2021, Proscia founded Pros Performance Systems (PPS), where he continues to train athletes and adults with a focus on athletic performance and long-term development.

At Brooklyn College, Proscia oversees the strength and conditioning programs for the Bulldogs' student-athletes, helping them enhance performance, reduce injury risk, and achieve success in competition.
