Bronx, NY---The Brooklyn College women's basketball team extended their win-streak to nine on Saturday, cruising to a CUNYAC victory at Lehman, 86-48. BC improves to 15-2 overall and 9-0 in CUNYAC with the win while Lehman drops 2-11 and 1-5. Brooklyn will take a break from conference play as the Bulldogs host Salisbury University on Monday at 5pm.
Making up for more than half of the Bulldogs' scoring, senior forward,
Chanel Jemmott led the way with a game-high 24 points while junior guard,
Ericka James added 20 points. Jemmott notched another double-double on the season, finishing with 13 boards to go along with five assists. James knocked down five from beyond the arc on the afternoon, grabbed seven boards, and came up with four steals.
Taking immediate control from the opening tip, the Bulldogs jumped out to a 9-2 lead in the first two minutes of action. Lehman made a stand in the second quarter, outscoring BC 16-11 to cut the visitors' halftime lead to 38-26.
Brooklyn exploded in the third quarter and after a 12-0 run, found themselves up 27 with 3:17 to go in the period. The Bulldogs cruised from that point on, never leading by less than 25 for the remainder of the game.

Dasha Goodman, and junior forward,
Sarah James provided a spark off of the BC bench, finishing with 11 points each. Junior guard,
Gianna Gotti, came up with a game-high eight steals.
Mojisola Shokeye led Lehman with a team-high 18 points.
